Full Title for each plot.
Eskom supplies the estate directly.
Clean, fresh, mountain water is piped to every home from our own reservoir which draws from boreholes on the mountain slopes.
The 7 ha lake provides the water to irrigate the gardens and vineyards and is used for recreational purposes like swimming, sailing – no motor boats.
The vineyard is owned and operated by the farmer of the “Remainder” (who also owns the game reserve). Homeowners have no financial involvement. We feel like vineyard owners – without any of the responsibilities, unless you decide to plant vines and make your own wine.
We govern ourselves by annually electing Directors, who appoint the Estate Manager and his team.
The Home Owners Association asks for a levy which is currently R3500. This covers 24/7 security, refuse removal, sewerage, internal road maintenance and looking after the “common areas”.
We enjoy a fiber optic network which provides high-speed internet access and supports our high tech camera security system.
Rates and Taxes are paid to the Cape Town Municipality.
