There are a number of good government and private schools in the Somerset West/Helderberg area.
Most children on the estate go to the renowned Somerset College, Somerset House, or the newly established Reddam House.

The nearest Shopping Centre is only 4km away, featuring Checkers, Clicks and Woolworths as well as other specialised shops. The mall with more shops than most wallets can handle is 20 min away.
The Helderberg/Somerset West area is known for top-notch medical facilities. The Vergelegen Medi Clinic, Arun Medical Centre as well the newly opened Busamed Private Hospital have every facility you could wish for.
Restaurants and Wine Estates, well, I have lived here on Wedderwill for over 20 years and I still have not visited them all. But, we are trying very hard. A few are listed here, but there are plenty more.
The Strand Beach is 15 minutes away and Gordon’s Bay famous Bikini Beach with it’s Yacht Club, Harbour and Restaurants is also only a hop and a skip.
