The scenic beauty of Wedderwill attracted me in the first place. That was more than 20 years ago. Since then, I have never tired of the ever changing backdrop of mountains, clouds, sunsets, sunrises, mist, rain and storms.
I must have taken over 2000 pictures of scenery that caught my eye. Here are just a few of them – taken by an amateur photographer with no fancy equipment. When I see something that strikes me – I just snap it.

Mist creeps into our valley and invites me and my Grandkids to imagine mystical stories.
The mist lays a skirt around the Helderberg and then you see an eerie scene with trees poking through the mist.

The vines enjoy cool on shore breezes on the slopes of the Schapenberg
Some of the best wines are grown in this part of the Helderberg Basin.

The morning sun kisses these mountains, the evening lights add sparkle at night
